Quality of Life Committee

The Quality of Life Committee deals with voicing suggestions to the Business Improvement Districts, the Alderman & other elected officials and the City. Additionally, they work with businesses to ensure a great experience for everyone.


Quality of Life Mission Statement

The Quality of Life Committee’s mission is to foster a cooperative and proactive solution driven environment between its residents and businesses to make downtown a great place to live and operate a responsible and profitable business. The DNA MKE Quality of Life Committee:

  • Meets on a regular basis to share information and provide a forum to collect concerns raised by its members
  • Communicates with businesses and City of Milwaukee officials to correct problems or implement suggestions for improvement
  • Encourages initiatives that beautify neighborhoods to enhance quality of life for residents and stimulate economic growth in the area
  • Keeps residents informed about crime prevention efforts that foster safe neighborhoods and help local businesses thrive
  • Informs its members on local regulations regarding responsible hospitality management to provide them with a reasonable expectation of living in downtown Milwaukee
